From a very early stage, I have always been fascinated by how the body works, particularly when it is injured or not functioning as it should. Much of this interest developed from my own experiences with sporting injuries, which led me to want to better understand injury, recovery and long-term movement health.

I have over 10 + years’ experience working within the health, fitness and rehabilitation sector. I originally began my career as a group fitness instructor, where I developed a strong interest in exercise referral and specialist areas such as back care and knee rehabilitation. This passion for helping people recover from injury led me to complete a BSc in Sports Therapy in 2016, before progressing to qualify as a Physiotherapist (MSc).

In my clinical work, I see a wide range of patients, from desk-based professionals and tradespeople to retired individuals and athletes. Working alongside my partner, we provide a holistic in-house approach to treatment, combining hands-on therapy with targeted rehabilitation and exercise-based therapy.

My approach focuses on identifying the underlying cause of injury rather than simply treating symptoms. I combine an evidence-based physiotherapy approach with proven hands-on treatment techniques to reduce pain, restore mobility and support long-term recovery.

My treatment methods include acupuncture for sports injuries, electrotherapy, percussion therapy, dry cupping and sports massage. More recently, I have incorporated Clinical Pilates and Pilates Reformer-based rehabilitation into my treatment approach to support strength, movement control and injury prevention.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy staying active by walking my dogs and continue to expand my knowledge in rehabilitation, movement and performance to better support my patients.

BSc Osteopathy | MSc Animal Osteopathy | Osteopath | GOsC Registered (GOsC: 10194)

My approach to treatment focuses on helping people get back to doing what they love by improving movement, reducing pain and increasing body awareness. I combine a range of therapeutic techniques, including NKT (Neuro Kinetic Therapy), AIM (Anatomy in Motion) and P-DTR (Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex), which work with the body’s neurological and movement systems to restore balance and function.

Before entering the health and rehabilitation field, I served in the British Army, including deployment to Afghanistan. Unfortunately, an injury brought my military career to an end, but it also sparked my interest in understanding the body, injury and rehabilitation. During my recovery, I spent considerable time at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre at Headley Court, where I became fascinated by the way the body heals and adapts.

This experience led me to pursue a career in the health and fitness industry, initially qualifying as a Personal Trainer while developing a deeper understanding of anatomy, movement and rehabilitation. During this time, I completed specialist training, including AIM, which focuses on how the body moves and where restrictions may contribute to pain, NKT to identify inhibited muscles and dysfunctional movement patterns, and P-DTR techniques, which work with the body’s neurological “software” to support the body’s natural repair processes.

Wanting to further develop my clinical knowledge and manual therapy skills, I later qualified as an Osteopath and, for the past five years, have been working with patients experiencing pain, injury, and movement limitations.

Together with my partner Jane, we run our own osteopathic and rehabilitation clinic, helping people break free from pain, improve movement and return to the activities they enjoy.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy staying active through cycling, cold-water and ice bath recovery, and walking our dogs.
